Not done in Venice, nota bene, but since you asked for it: tu l'as voulu, George Dandin! Obviously from 3 different periods:

Sacre bleue... I was expecting robins and fruitbowls... That's bold... aggressive... you're attacking the world... excoriating it... why so angry...?

Angry? Is that how they appeal to you? Funny, I didn't feel angry when I made them, on the contrary!, I felt full of joy and energy ... whereas now, being indeed in an angry phase, my pics look tame, I can't find a good balance of colors and structures any more and the result is a dull mess

I think you should set up a thread and give yourself a retrospective... including titles, dates, background info... Yes, it's a must...

I have no photographs of most of the paintings, since my old reflex camera isn't working any more, but that little digital thing I own distorts the paintings, and if I try to correct the distortion, the center gets slightly out of focus ... too much annoyance, so I stopped photographing my paintings.

There may be a few more of my old pics somewhere on a CD, I'm going to see what I can find.

Well, it's certainly assertive, and to me that looks aggressive - as if there's some fundamental tension between you and reality that causes you to de-engineer the world... hence anger. Of course you felt happy because painting is a catharsis...
Very interesting...

If you stand back and shoot on telephoto (without filling the frame) that should minimise the distortion I should think. You can always crop and enlarge it later.
Yes, show us some more in another thread because this isn't the best place for it.

Sonora desert... off the grid with solar powered generator; no yard work; minimal taxes; $125k negotiable.

Just reading that since the new fence was built along part of the border, the Sonora desert is now the place where the illegal immigrants get across. The desert is apparently full of them staggering around half dead from thirst and starvation. Still your first choice of place to live...?

Maybe that's why it for sale cheap. It would depend how close to the border it was but I would be more concerned about the scorpions. Wouldn't be a bad idea to keep a couple of dogs loose at night and a rifle handy in any case.
